I provide both short-term and long-term therapy with individuals, couples and families in a safe and nonthreatening environment. This work will be centralized around helping the client(s) with whatever life issues are brought to the therapy sessions. Together we will create a working treament plan and adjust it as necessary to meet your therapeutic needs. Please feel free to call me for an initial no cost phone consultation to assist in determining the best avenue to take for the particular problem or concern you are having. If I feel I am unable to help you, I will most likely refer you to another professional colleague. I accept personal checks and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover). In addition, I will also accept payment through PayPal. I can accept most health insurance plans and can file your insurance for you if you choose. Remember you are ultimately responsible for the total charge due for each session unless previous arrangements have been made and discussed with me. Health insurance plans differ and will pay a varying percentage after your deductible is met. Please call your health insurance carrier and ask for any preauthorizations necessary prior to our visit to insure prompt payment. They can advise you of what your out of network benefits are and help you to determine what your deductible is and how much has been met. In addition, the insurance carrier can also advise you how much they will pay toward the fee for each of our visits together.

You should also know that there are some possible negative aspects of using insurance to pay for therapeutic visits. Your insurance company will require a copy of any mental health diagnosis before any approval for payment is made. This public health information (PHI) will become part of your permanent file with your insurance company. This information is covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) enacted by the US Congress in 1996.
